What this tool computes (and what it doesn't)
This checker compares two numbers you read off your own in-game screens: your curse resistance (season screen, driven by your Curse Research Lab) and the requirement shown on the monster, zone, or boss you want to hit. It tells you whether you meet the requirement and by how much you're short.
It does not guess hidden formulas. The exact damage penalty below a requirement is whatever the game shows on the target screen — the confirmed mechanic is that damage drops by up to 99.9% when your resistance is below the requirement. Requirements come from your game, not from us.
Closing a gap: the Curse Research Lab is the source of curse resistance, the Altar (which boosts your Desert Protectors) unlocks at lab level 30, and the rally leader's resistance often applies to the whole rally — so the fastest fix is usually rallying under your highest-resistance player.
