Genetic Recombination planner

Genetic Recombination is the primary Mutant Crystal source in Season 1 — but charges cap at 30, so if you clear less often than every 60 hours you sit full and waste accrual. Enter your season day and how often you realistically clear charges — get the charges you'll bank through the end of Week 7 and a nudge when your cadence is leaving charges on the table.

What this tool computes (and what it doesn't)

The mechanics this planner is built on are verified: Genetic Recombination is the primary Mutant Crystal source in Season 1 (Crimson Plague), it runs Day 3 through the end of Week 7, one charge accrues every 2 hours, and stored charges cap at 30 — so from empty it takes about 60 hours to fill. That cap is the whole point: clear less often than every 60 hours and you sit at the ceiling, wasting every charge that would have accrued.

So the arithmetic is honest and simple: at your clear cadence you bank at most 12 charges a day, minus whatever overflows the cap, across the days left in the Day 3 → end of Week 7 window. That gives your projected charges and the "charges on the table" nudge.

What it does not do is promise an exact Mutant Crystal payout. One community source (caraguatatuba.de) calculates roughly 57.4M crystals (community estimates land around 57–59M) for a full consistent clear — we cite that as an illustration only. Per-charge yield scales with your event level and buffs, so the crystal figure on this page is a rough guide, not a guarantee. Season 1 mechanics corroborated by lastwartutorial.com.
