Territory captures

Some seasons open the map to territory captures — strongholds and cities taken under daily caps and declaration-day timing rules. The capture planner is a day-by-day board of your planned targets, with the season's rules shown up top and timing violations flagged as advisories so officers can adjust before the season bites.

When it applies

The planner turns on only for seasons that actually use territory captures — strongholds and cities with daily caps and declaration-day timing. When your season doesn't use those mechanics, the page says so plainly and sends you back to the season hub; it never shows an empty board or a broken rule.

Verified rules currently cover Season 1 Military Strongholds, Season 2 Dig Sites, Season 3 and Season 4 Digging Strongholds, Season 5 Banks, and Season 6 Fishing Grounds, alongside each season's city actions. Season 3 also exposes its verified Level 1–6 Curse Resistance requirements in the resistance checker.

// NOTE

Whether a season is a capture season, and what its caps and declaration-day rules are, comes from the season itself. Where a season's contract is silent on a rule, the planner simply reports “no cap this season” or “no restriction this season” rather than inventing one.

The rules panel

At the top of the board sits the season's live rules, so everyone plans against the same constraints:

  • Daily caps — how many of that season's stronghold-equivalent targets and cities the alliance can take in a single day.
  • City declaration days — the date from which cities can only be declared on certain weekdays, and which days those are.

Both are read from the season, so they reflect the phase you're actually in rather than a generic guess.

Planning targets

Officers (R5/R4) build the plan; members read it. Start with the target's day, type, and name, then add as much route detail as the alliance knows:

  1. 1

    Pick the day

    The date you intend to take the target on. Entries group under their day so each day shows its own load.
  2. 2

    Choose the type

    Stronghold or city — the planner counts each separately against that day’s caps.
  3. 3

    Name the target

    A short label like “Stronghold 12” so the rally lead knows exactly which one.
  4. 4

    Pin it on the map (optional)

    Record the target level and X/Y coordinates so members can find the exact territory without hunting through chat screenshots.
  5. 5

    Build the route (optional)

    Mark the target as primary or backup and choose the territory that must be secured first. The planner flags missing prerequisites and routes scheduled in the wrong order.
  6. 6

    Add a coordination note (optional)

    Rally lead, timing, or any other detail the alliance needs.

Each day's card tallies its strongholds and cities as badges, and officers can remove any entry. Members see the same day-by-day plan read-only, so the whole alliance follows one target list. Use Copy route brief to turn the live plan into a Discord-ready message with levels, coordinates, prerequisites, notes, and a warning count before it is posted.

Timing warnings

When a day's plan breaks a rule — too many targets against the daily cap, a city declared outside its allowed days, a deleted prerequisite, or a route step scheduled before the territory that unlocks it — the planner flags it inline under that day as an advisory. The warnings are there to inform, not to block: they never stop you saving an entry, so you can plan aggressively and then adjust.

// TIP

Treat the warnings as a pre-flight check. Clear them before the capture day and you avoid the classic mistakes — wasting a declaration on a locked day, or lining up more targets than the cap allows. For the wider week-by-week context these captures sit in, keep the season playbook open alongside.
