Arms Race
Arms Race is the in-game daily event with six 4-hour phases (City Building, Unit Progression, Tech Research, Drone Boost, Hero Advancement). The Arms Race page is a phase tracker — it shows which phase is active right now, what's coming next, and what resource type to spend during each phase. There's no shared state and no submission step; the schedule is purely a function of the in-game weekly rotation and your alliance's server reset hour.
What Arms Race is
Arms Race runs every day in Last War. The day is split into six 4-hour phases, and each phase rewards a different category of activity (training troops, finishing research, spending stamina, and so on). Players earn badges for hitting milestone score thresholds within each phase, and badges roll up into bronze / silver / gold daily chests.
The Arms Race tab inside Last Command is purely a tracker. It looks at your alliance's server reset hour, computes which phase is currently active and which is coming next, and surfaces score thresholds plus tips on what to spend.
// NOTE
The six phases
A day always contains six phases. Five distinct phase types rotate through the slots, with the sixth slot always repeating the third — so most days you get one phase type twice.
- City Building — building power gains and construction speedups score points.
- Unit Progression — training troops and training speedups score points.
- Tech Research — tech power gains and research speedups score points.
- Drone Boost — stamina spent on radar missions and drone combat data score points.
- Hero Advancement — Legendary Recruitment Tickets and Hero EXP score points.
// TIP
Badges and chests
Each phase has three milestone score thresholds worth 1, 2 and 3 badges. Hit all three milestones in all six phases and you finish the day with the maximum 36 badges. Badges open three daily chests:
- Bronze at 2 badges.
- Silver at 8 badges.
- Gold at 18 badges.
Gold (18 badges) is the realistic daily target for active players — it works out to clearing all three milestones in roughly three of the six phases.
The tracker
This is the production tracker, running off your local clock with a sample server reset hour of 00:00 UTC. The active phase, countdown, today's schedule, weekly rotation grid, badge guide and resource recommendations all match exactly what officers and members see inside the dashboard.

Server reset hour
Every alliance is tied to a single Last War server, and each server resets at a fixed hour of the day. The Arms Race phase rotation is anchored to that reset, so the tracker needs the right hour to draw the right phase boundaries.
Set it once under Settings → Alliance → Server reset hour. The tracker, the daily check-in board and a few other time-of-day features all read the same value, so changing it once flows through everywhere.
