Billing and Pro
Free is genuinely free forever — Desert Storm coordination, member directory, manual event input, donations, shield board, and basic metrics are all included. Pro adds AI screenshot scanning, advanced analytics including Officer Pulse, custom audiences, longer history retention, and a few quality-of-life officer features. One subscription per alliance — every member is covered automatically.
What Pro unlocks
- AI screenshot scanning — paste any in-game leaderboard or roster screenshot and have the values extracted into structured data.
- Officer Pulse and the full Metrics tab — composite engagement scoring, at-risk view, movers, decision-support analytics.
- Custom audiences — saved member lists for re-targeting announcements.
- Discord webhook posting — announcements and DS lifecycle events post automatically to the alliance Discord.
- Longer history retention — 90-day and all-time ranges on My history, alliance overview, and metrics. Free is capped at 30 days.
- Performance Expectations — set per-signal absolute targets for Pulse to score against.
How it bills
Pro is a flat monthly subscription per alliance, billed via Stripe in your local currency. R5 starts the upgrade from Sidebar → Billing. Stripe handles the checkout flow, the card details, and recurring billing — we never see card numbers ourselves.
The current monthly price and any active promotions are listed on the pricing page. If you have a fully-paid annual or multi-month deal in flight, that overrides the monthly auto-renew.
// NOTE
Managing the subscription
The Billing page shows the current status (active, past due, cancelled, in trial) and the next billing date. The “Manage subscription” button opens the Stripe customer portal, where you can update the card on file, download invoices, or cancel.
Only R5 sees the full Billing page. R4s see a summary status but can't change the subscription, since billing is a leader-controlled concern.
Cancellation and downgrade
Cancellation through the Stripe portal stops auto-renewal but keeps Pro features active until the end of the period you've already paid for. After that, the alliance reverts to free — your data stays, you just can't open the Pro features again until you re-upgrade.
Downgrades are non-destructive. Past donation rankings, VS history, hero data, captured matches all stay attached to the alliance. Pulse and other Pro views are gated behind the paywall again, but every record is preserved and visible again the moment you re-upgrade.
To delete the alliance entirely (and all attached data), use Settings → Danger zone → Delete alliance rather than just cancelling Pro.
